Opening of The International Online Short Course Program 2021
Monday, August 2, 2021, the Department of Nutrition Science and Feed Technology held the opening of The International Online Short Course (IOSC) 2021 with the topic Exotic Tropical Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology. The event was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Drajat Martianto, M.Si and the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Dr.Ir. Idat Galih Permana, MSc.
IOSC 2021 will be held from 2 – 31 August 2021, inviting 7 guest lecturers, namely Dr. Rahmat Hidayat SPt. MSi (Padjadjaran University); Makoto Kondo PhD (Mie University); Dr. Hasliza Abu Hasim (Universiti Putra Malaysia); Prof. Good Myunggi (Seoul National University); Firman Nasiu SPt., MSi (Halu Oleo University); Prof. Ergin ztürk (Ondokuz Mayis University); and Dr. Pristian Yuliana, S.Pt, M.Si (PT Pintu Mulia). INTP Department lecturers who teach include Prof. Nahrowi; Prof.Dr.Ir. Luki Abdullah MSc.Agr; Dr. Sri Suharti; Prof. Sumiati; Prof.Dr.Ir. Asep Sudarman MSc.; Dr.Ir. Heri A Sukria, MSc; and Dr.Ir. Idat Galih Permana, MSc.
Dr.rer.nat. Nur Rochmah Kumalasari SPt MSi as the IOSC program coordinator in her report said that the participants were from 12 countries, namely Afghanistan, Cambodia, China, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Sudan, Timor Leste, Turkey and Indonesia. “The participants came from 19 institutions, namely Ateneo de Manila University; Central Luzon State University; Central Mindanao University; Ondokuz Mayis University; Kasetsart University; Philippine Carabao Center; Mie University; Philippine Normal University; Rhein-Waal University; Visayas State University; Xavier University; Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, University of the Philippines Los Baños, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Udayana University, Padjadjaran University, Sudirman University, Muhadi Setiabudi University and IPB University students as well as from the Philippine Carabao Center and the Ministry of Agriculture.”
Lecture activities in the IOSC 2021 program consist of synchronous with zoom meetings and asynchronous using IPB's learning management system, namely ocw.ipb.ac.id. Each lecture can be accessed on the YouTube channel so that participants can repeat the lecture material. At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the Student Competition of Nutrition and Feed Technology.
