Matching Fund Teaching Factory Sorinfer "MBKM" Faculty of Animal Science IPB SC Batch 2 dan EC Batch 3
Saturday, December 11, 2021, 29 students of the Department Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology participated in the opening of the Matching Fund Teaching Factory Merdeka Learning Program at the Independent Campus, Faculty of Animal Science, IPB. This program is the result of a collaboration between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry IPB and PT Santana Manggala Karya which developed the Sorinfer (Sorghum-Indigofera Fermentation) business. This program is divided into internship enrichment course/EC (3 batches) and internship supporting course/SC (2 batches). The EC program is 45 days long while the SC program is 90 days long. In this last batch, 22 people participated in the EC program and 7 in the SC program.
The program is led by Prof.Dr.Ir. Luki Abdullah, MSc. Agr and Prof. Dr. Ir. Panca Dewi MHK, MS with his team from the Division of Plant Feed and Pasture Science and Technology. The MBKM curriculum was formed to strengthen students' abilities in professional development and social relations with students and staff relations. Students get standard indicators that must be met in order to obtain optimal scores. This indicator is made in an online system so that it can be checked, assessed and evaluated by various parties.
Various field activities are carried out individually and in groups so that students can establish good relations with various parties. In individual daily activities, students fill out daily logbooks regularly based on the targets in the indicators. Students also make news and videos in groups so that they can interact well socially. Evaluation of activities is carried out weekly and at the end of the activity an online workshop is held involving supervisors and lecturers. Students can apply for a tractor driver certification test with the guidance of staff at UP3Jonggol. Dr. Iwan Prihantoro SPt., MSi as the director of UP3Jonggol hopes, "Student activities will be the driving force for various activities at UP3Jonggol in utilizing the various facilities available."
