Matching Fund Teaching Factory Sorinfer Program MBKM Faculty of Animal Science

Saturday, September 25, 2021, 27 students of the Department of Nutrition Science and Feed Technology participated in the opening of the Matching Fund Teaching Factory Merdeka Learning Program at the Independent Campus, Faculty of Animal Science, IPB. The program which was opened by Prof.Dr.Ir. Erika B. Laconi MS is the result of a collaboration between the Faculty of Animal Husbandry IPB and PT Santana Manggala Karya which developed the Sorinfer (Sorghum-Indigofera Fermentation) business. The program is led by Prof.Dr.Ir. Luki Abdullah, MSc. Agr and Prof. Dr. Ir. Panca Dewi MHK, MS with his team from the Division of Plant Feed and Pasture Science and Technology. The opening of this program was attended by Prof.Dr.Ir. Suranto; Zulfikar Imani Dip.Eng. Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Dr. Ir. Idat Galih Permana MSc.Agr, Wadek SKP Dr. Sri Suharti SPt. MSi. Prof. Erika hopes that the students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry can love livestock and animal husbandry as a whole so that they can enter the world of animal husbandry well.

This program is divided into 5 batches for 3rd and 7th semester students in the form of internship enrichment course/EC (3 batches) and internship supporting course/SC (2 batches). The EC program is 45 days long while the SC program is 90 days long. In batch 1, 9 students and 18 students participated in the EC program as many as 15 people and 12 students in the SC program. The students really appreciated this program, "I hope to be able to complete research for my final project while getting an internship experience and learning corporate management." Said Almuhith, a 7th semester student who is a participant in the SC program.

From UP3 Jonggol, Dr. Iwan Prihantoro SPt., MSi and Edit Lesa SPt., MSi welcomed this program, “UP3Jonggol welcomes this program and has prepared facilities for students to live and study. Hopefully students get useful knowledge from learning in the field directly."
